Developed using POC's Whole Helmet Concept, the helmet is optimized for superior levels of comfort, fit, and performance. Features such as optimized ventilation channels ensure maximized airflow at both low and high speeds, making the helmet an ideal choice for enduro riding.
The Coron Air Mips has been updated to include the Mips Brain Protection System, providing enhanced rotational impact protection. The helmet's specially formed ear chambers are designed to minimize the negative effect on balance and hearing associated with wearing a full-face helmet. A fiberglass shell and a multi-impact EPP liner offer high impact performance, durability, and low weight.
Developed in collaboration with POC Team athletes, including Martin Söderström and Robin Wallner, the Coron Air Mips provides protection trusted by professionals. This reinforced MTB helmet is made for downhill racing, delivering on performance, protection, ventilation, and all-day comfort. The helmet is certified for use in downhill and enduro racing.
The Coron Air Mips features the Mips Evolve rotational impact protection system, with the well-known yellow low-friction layer. The fiberglass outer shell provides exceptional durability, while the EPP helmet liner offers multi-impact protection.
The helmet's cheek pads can be easily removed after a crash, making it easier for medical professionals to remove the helmet in case of injury. The innovative ventilation system is optimized to channel air through the helmet, ensuring comfort at both high and low speeds.
Finally, the Coron Air Mips is equipped with a patented breakaway peak that will snap off the helmet in a fall, enhancing neck protection. The specific ear chambers are designed to minimize the impact of wearing a full-face helmet on hearing and balance.
